oSTEM @ UMN
Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, or oSTEM, is a national, non-profit society dedicated to serving LGBTQIA+ identified college students who are pursuing their studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. "oSTEM @ Minnesota works to foster community and visibility for LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and faculty as well as provide support in professional and personal development. We strive to empower each other and our peers through social development, professional skills development, networking opportunities, and collaborative projects with other student groups." umn cultural centers
The Cultural Centers are comprised of 9 different student groups, all housed on the 2nd floor of Coffman Memorial Union. Each space is open Monday-Friday and the Cultural Centers are great places to study and create a community. Each group hosts their own events and programming. The Cultural Centers are comprised of Al-Madinah Cultural Center (AMCC), the American Indian Student Cultural Center (AISCC), the Asian American Student Union (ASU), the Black Student Union (BSU), the Disabled Student Cultural Center (DSCC), Feminist Student Activist Collective (FSAC), Mi Gente Latinx Student Cultural Center, the Minnesota International Student Association (MISA), and the Queer Student Cultural Center (QSCC).
