Groups Info
The QSCC is an umbrella organization for many of the LGBTQIA+ student groups offered at the University of Minnesota. See above for the complete schedule of student groups for this semester. All meetings and events will be held in person in CMU Room 217 unless otherwise specified.

A-spec-tacular:
A-spec-tacular is a group for asexual and or aromantic spectrum individuals to gather, discuss issues, and meet other students who are on the asexual or aromantic spectrum. (Formerly known as fACES).
Biversity:
Biversity is a group for people who are sexually and/or romantically attracted to more than one gender to discuss issues that are relevant to their identities.
GenderQueer:
GenderQueer is a group that provides support and a safe environment for people who don’t fall within the gender binary. Meetings will be held to relax, discuss issues relating to gender, and provide education for anyone who chooses to come. GenderQueer strives to provide a presence and an awareness of nonbinary identities on campus, as the University of Minnesota does not yet universally recognize people who are not male or female.
MasQ:
MasQ is a group for bisexual, gay, and queer people who identify with the mlm (men-loving-men) or nblm (nonbinary-loving-men) label. This group focuses on celebrating our history, community, and culture. (Formerly known as Queer Men).
NeuroQueers:
NeuroQueers is a group centered around LGBTQ+ people who would benefit from a space that celebrates neurodiversity. This group will feature discussions of mental health topics, ways to healthily cope, resources on and off campus, venting, and just having a moment to relax and de-stress. Since the QSCC is a safe space, there will be minimal talk of triggering topics.
qARTz:
qARTz serves as a space to showcase queer art and artists, as well as provide the opportunity for members of the campus community to make art in a queer setting.
Roots:
Roots is a group for queer-identified students of color that offers discussions, activities, and media presentations relating to the intersection of racial and queer identities. Unless otherwise specified, these meetings will be closed to those who are not queer-identified students of color.
SapphiQ:
SapphiQ is a group for individuals who identify with the wlw (women-loving-women) or nblw (nonbinary-loving-women) labels. This group focuses on celebrating our history, community, and culture. (Formerly known as Queer Women).
Tranarchy:
Tranarchy is a student group for trans, non-binary, and otherwise gender-nonconforming individuals, and for those questioning their gender identity. This group offers discussions and activities relating to gender identity and gender presentation.
GeeQs (indefinitely on hiatus):
GeeQs is a student group that meets weekly to play a variety of video, board, and strategy games. Any queer-identified individuals and allies may attend.
